Mod Description:
A basic trainer for Test Drive 5 Direct 3D v1.1 (TD5_d3d.exe).
Requirements:
- Patched copy of Test Drive 5. Download the official patch. Apply it before using the trainer. Function of the trainer with v1.0 is unknown.
- Direct 3D compatible PC or Windows VM.
Known issues:
- Executing the trainer on Windows 10 may trigger Windows Defender.
- This is by design of Windows Defender as the exe modifies the memory.
- Executing the trainer may trigger your Anti-Virus software, for the exact same reason as Windows defender above.
Functions:
CAR ID FREEZER.
- Lock car ID and use them in any race or event.
ID Memory range: 0-35.
EXCEED LAP LIMIT.
- Lap count by default cannot be increase beyond 4 laps.
- Using this function will exceed this limit, increasing to 18 laps.
- This causes crazy AI catchup on House of Bez, and other odd game behaviour.
ALWAYS 1ST.
- Forces the player to never leave 1st position.
Allowing the player to never lose, ever.
